05:15 p.m.

I watched my sibs play the noisy videogame again, some wierd game with a bird stuck to a bear called Banjotooie, or something. It was fun, I suppose, but it's rather hard to concentrate on studying when the music's playing at a high level in the background. So I gave up studying. And worked on some sort of crap essay on seme and uke that maybe, maybe someday I will type up. That pretty much describes my day.

After that, it was pretty much go out to see the doctor.. after the last time I went home and crashed on the bed and slept for a loong time and completely missed the clinic's closing time.. and I hope whatever the doctor gave me will take care of whatever illness I have. The doctor didn't seem very competent to me. And she's treating the symptoms.. I'm whining, I know, but I can't help but be influenced by horror stories of incompetent doctors..

So I went and explored the neighbourhood after that. Discovered a new manga stall, and a new anime shop with a really large selection. Larger than the one at SimLim, I think. Shall return there sometime when I have money.

*stares at the computer screen* Ah, replies. (I know this is starting to sound more like a messageboard than a diary, Kai, but..)

Meia, you with Oruha-hair is scary. Especially with your hair. Especially with your hair. Take picture and send, onegai?

Kaori, when do you want Cowboy Bebop? It's really good, and it has the Merlion in it! XD XD So watch. If you want, I can come down to your place to pass it to you, just give me a time.

Leareth, good luck for your exams! (This is something I have wanted to say for a long time, but never quite got around to doing) Have you managed to get X16 yet? Because originally Kaori and I wanted to get you that, but we didn't manage to get it on time. *twitch* So do you have it yet?

07:34 p.m.

Alalalala.. back from school and in the cybercafe- have to be home in a few minutes or mom'll kill me, but.

Meia, Youtaifuu-ficness? *stamps foot impatiently*

I cut my hair, for like, the first time in maybe two years? It's no longer Yuukyo-style hair, and I probably won't be able to cosplay Yuukyo at the December cosplay anymore (but why am I thinking so far ahead, anyway?) but Fuugen is looking like a distinct possibity. Or actually, my hair looks like Count D's now. Pity I'm not as pretty as he is.

Ulp. Better get going now.

*looks nervously at modem* It's crashed twice already today. Me wishes muchly for the new modem to be up.. but not until next month.

Not much to say now.. Meia, check your mail.

03:33 p.m.

Kai-chan! What do you mean, "the only html illiterate one here. HAHAHAHAHA"? Hido~i!

Surfing from the cybercafe again, but only for a short while, because I have to go and see the doctor. Can you develop sinus? I think I have that now, in the form of a blocked nose which started almost a month ago and refuses to go away. So now I'm going to see the doctor. Hooray.

10:40 a.m.

Kaori, your place sometime? I don't mind- but we'll have to find a day when we're both free, cause I think band and lessons are getting more frequent for me now. Next week?

Watched KKJ yesterday.. Kaori, you have an absolute genius for getting me interested in maho-shoujo type series. Hmmph. I liked it, even though you're right about the animation being wierd at times.

The Cowboy Bebop Selector Test says I'm like Ed. *slaps head* Ed, of all people. Tabemono, Tabemono arimaska? Na... I thought, myself, that I was more like Ein, her dog. I definitely do not act like Ed. Well, sometimes, but not as much as her.

Meia, doko? Hope you're having fun in Australia.

I just finished my Physics lesson. Three straight hours of science without a single break- I was falling asleep, and so was the entire class. But the teacher was nice, and at least I learnt something. Heh.

04:43 p.m.

Eheh. Went out with my Dad today to the computer Expo at the Changi Expo- it's one of the few times that he didn't drive, since the place was definitely going to be darn crowded. It was, well, quite fun, even though it /was/ crowded as Hell, and noisy and full of people spouting things in terms I can't understand.

Got a new DSL modem, switched net access plan, which means I more or less have unlimited for next month- until the promotion runs out, anyway. Walked around a bit, and got scared by my Dad's jaywalking. I figure I probably didn't inherit his nerves.

Meia, you online? I see you on my contacts list but you're not answering. *pouts*

Now, what else have I to say? I know I had something- but I can't for the life of me remember what, now. I'll put it on later, I guess. If I remember. In the style of one of my band friends "Me, goink, senile!"

05:46 p.m.

Anou, Leareth.. I wasn't delusional and rambling, but I think Meia can explain that remark when she sees you today. Or is it tommorrow? I can never remember the time difference. Hope Meia doesn't destroy the entire Western Australia, or something. =P

Meia, will you be able to get online? If you're going to be gone for two weeks..

Watched Cowboy Bebop today- all nine vcds. (I woke up at five when I didn't have to, /again/.) It wasn't screaming fangirl good, but it was good. Darkish sort of good. Although.. Faye Valentine was /Singaporean/? Tell me about any other country which has a half-fish /cat/ for a tourism mascot. Which built a storeys-high model of said mascot, with lasers shooting from the eyes. Although, if Faye was that old, she probably wouldn't have seen the new merlion, just the old one. Hmm. Thank goodness, though- when my mom watched the last few eps with me, she missed out on the more provocative scenes.

Me going for concertness now.

09:46 p.m.

Quick entry, since I have to be done in twelve minutes' time..

Kai-chan got a blog! Finally! And you better make sure you put stuff in it, yo. *pokes*

Arigato-gosaimasu Kaori! Thanks so much for translating the drama cd, and TSK. The first tankoubon probably won't be out for quite some time, and since I still have to get Gravi and PSoH manga, I might not be able to get it for some time. If you need help with anything, just let me know, although, as pointed out for umpteenth(sp?) times, I do not know much about html *hangs head* I'll go borrow some book from the library, or something.

Meia leaves tommorrow! You will be missed, onna. (I have a concert tommorrow night, so can't see you off, sorry!)

End, or my Dad kills me.

In retrospect, I hate Macs. >.< . I know they're supposed to be more user friendly and all, especially as the alternative to the rather popularly hated Microsoft, but.. Urghh. Work, darn you, work!

HEN.TAIS!!

To anybody who might be reading the horrible, horrible allegations about me on their blogs, it's not TRUE! Sure, I was actually looking in that direction- but I was staring into space, trying to think, not at them! Plus, it's not my fault that Singaporean supermarts and convenience stores like to put that sort of thing right at the counter next to the candy. And I didn't even know what they were until about a few years ago. So. There. HENTAIS!

Anyway, I was staring into space, trying to think of something to say to Meia, who had just said something about stalking Leareth (CCS...), and then they being the big hentais that they were noticed the things in the direction that I was staring at, which I hadn't noticed until Meia very kindly pointed them out. The abovementioned hentais have rather dirty minds, not me. The KFC episode was also their idea.. sure, I was doing things to the straw, but it wasn't dirty. Their thoughts were dirty.

Arrgh! There's a snake on my head, courtesy of the HENTAIS, who are stomping around Meia's house, singing the Tabemono song. Again. And not looking in the least /repentant/. And here we also have Kaori-chan trying to braid the toy snake into my hair, and telling me to hurry up and finish blogging so that she can tell the world about my hentainess, and ..

The snake just slid out of my hair.

And they still don't look any more repentant. They're eating candy now. /Candy/. Grrrrrr....

OMAE O KOROSU!

09:00 p.m.

Meia. You thinking like Ed is really scary. Really scary. Even if it's only for a fanfic, and a particularly IC fanfic at that.. And in closing, I'd like to say that I hope you never treat me like you're making Ed treat the dog. =P

My life is monotonous. I can see it now.. Lessons. Footdrill. Band practice. More lessons. Not very different from when school is in session, although I suppose that when school reopens we'll be like tender bits of chicken in a pressure cooker.. popcorn chicken. I should be studying right now, but I'm not. So I'll fail all my prelims and the actual 'O' levels and end up sweeping the roads, or something. Arghh.

09:03 p.m.

Okay, now I have AIM. Not that I'll be on, often, but.. Euphyi. Before I can actually use that to chat, perhaps I should learn how to use it first. Am I a baka at technology? Yes. Big definite yes. ^_^

07:16 a.m.

Urgghh. So I spent the entirety of yesterday watching anime and being generally too lazy than is good for me, and the day/night before, I slept thirteen hours. I've never managed to sleep past ten hours before- I missed dinner, too, which made my mom really irritated. So no net for me on Sunday. Mmmph.

I did, however, manage to watch a lot of anime, some of it with my sibs. I think that my sis has managed to pick up some of the words and vocabulary that I use when watching anime. It's cute, but if I hear her going, "Oh, the shoujo! Oh, the sugar!" one more time, I think I'm going to puke. She happened to like CCS, although, being the little elitist that she is, she didn't like Sakura's costumes. Something which has taught me a lot about anime, though- she kept on asking me if a character was male or female. (Quatre, Duo, Yue, Aya-kun..) Heh. How in the world she could think that Yue was female, escapes me. She calls him "Moon", by the way, since she can't understand Japanese, doesn't listen to the voices, and translates literally from the subtitles.

Another interesting thing was that both my sibs do not like Relena (from GW) even though they've only watched a little of the whole massive series. It was amusing to hear them going, "blasted Relena" when they aren't even sure who Heero is. Hmmph.

CCS was blasted cute, and sugary, and, well, sugary. Meia, we missed the Judging again! But I remember that when I spoke to Jane-san at school once she said she knew where to find it. So the next time I see her I'll ask.

PSoH was good, four entire episodes of darkness and more darkness, with very few actually halfway happy endings. Rather scary, in fact. *makes face* T3-minna-chan-tachi, shut up about Lain. It's also a very good appetizer. Now I have two new series to get manga for, Gravitation, and PSoH. Meow.

I bloggeth from school. I think I have a Physics lesson today.

Kaori, waii!!! You made another blog layout for me! Gomen ne, I'm causing you so much trouble. But I love the picture- it's Aya-kun, yay! And I'm email you soon when I clear my mailbox. 118 new messages. I should really put the gw lists on web only. Anou.. are you absolutely sure that Koyasu-sama was doing Sakano, of all people? Yuki, I could accept. But, Sakano? Not that he isn't cute in his own way.. by that I mean his personality and mannerisms are cute, although he seems too black-suitish and married to slash like bishounen, but, really. Sakano! Contrast that with Aya from WeiB or some of his other roles, and ...

Meia, *raises hand* X twisted pt 2 is finally done? Of course I'm volunteering to beta. If I don't go online tonight, send it to me by mail or something. The cybercafe is hell on people who icq, even if they love irc. And with that, this entry is done. It's the longest so far, I think.

Saturday, June 2, 2001

03:50 p.m.

Frank-san linked me! Anou.. I'm sorry I added you to ICQ and haven't had a chance to talk to you.. my father sort of cut off my internet access these past few days.

Saturday, June 2, 2001

03:40 p.m.

Owwww..*moans* Staying out late the night before a whole morning of footdrills is definitely not something I want to repeat. I'm blogging from a cybercafe again, so this will be a relatively short entry. I think.

My shoulders hurt. My feet hurt. My throat is dry. And the frigging sun shone today, like it didn't the past few footdrills, and I feel like I'm half baked. The worst thing is that I was the one who wanted to have the footdrills in the first place. *plops down*

On the bright side, I have CCS and PSoH at home, and I finally found out the Chinese name of the Gravitation manga. I watched Gravitation yesterday, as well as some of Cowboy Bebop. I was squealing and squealing at Gravitation, and although I liked Cowboy Bebop, when I saw the flashback scene with Vicious (sp?) I was also squealing and going, "yaoi!". (You did that too, so don't try to deny it.) And then there was also the business with the straw and the cup at KFC.. uh, Meia, I was doing unmentionable things to the cup and the straw because I was thirsty, and I was trying to get the last few drops of cheap sugar-caffiene-laced liquid from the cup. Then you had to drop some hentai remark, and the analogy just popped into my head... my shoulder still hurts, you know.

My mind is blank now. I have other things to type, but I think that deserves a separate blog entry from this crap.

11:05 a.m.

Hotmail appears to be down. *groans* just when I got to a computer with internet, too. Because my very generous friend also wants to use the computer, I shall make this a really fast entry. (shut up, Viv ^_^) Basically.. arghh. Just finished two whole continuous hours of chemistry, and I still don't understand a single thing about organic chem. I give up. *goes off, to the eternal delight of foolishly grinning friend*

09:05 p.m.

I'm online now, but only for an hour. I should really get around to replying to those messages and rp-ing, I guess. ^^ but me lazy from one day of finally waking up later than seven, watching anime from morning to lunch, then watching my sibs play some video game, then walking around and finding that the housing estate nearby isn't as boring as I thought. And I have Star Ocean 3!!

Wednesday, May 30, 2001

05:04 p.m.

Yaaaaaa... Finally I can get to a computer.

I'm blogging from a cybercafe now, cause my dad waved the internet bill in front of me on Monday night, and I think he's going to flat block me off from the net very often. *pouts* ADSL is sure good, but it's also very expensive. So, anyway.. now I get to spend my time, allowance, and money away at cybercafes!

Oh well.. I suppose now I should spend time offline and try to learn html. That's at night. Now that the stupid exam is over, I can finally go back to school and practise!! I missed my instrument..

I didn't practise today. Instead, I went out to explore the neighbourhood. I don't live in a housing estate, and I'm mostly at school, so when I go out it's usually Orchard, Bugis, or Bishan *pokes Meia* Actually, I found that my neighbourhood is actually quite interesting- even if you have to walk around alot to get to places. There's the usual lineup of shopping centers, but there are anime shops, and there are two manga stalls with quite a good selection. The shopkeepers are pretty friendly, too. One of them asked me if I wanted to order something when I asked for something he didn't carry. Also a number of game shops- pirated, of course, and also heavily male dominated. *sweatdrops* It's the kind of gaming places with LAN and all sorts of violent games, that my brother likes to go to, but I suppose it's alright. This one's pretty quiet, so I came in.

I had a rather pleasant time walking around today, as opposed to yesterday, when I went to Kino and then found that they didn't carry Star Ocean in Chinese. Ashton does look good on the cover of vol 4, though. And I still think that his boots look like garters. *smilesmile*

Meia, Kaori, all-nighter doko? My place, or Meia's? If it's my place, Kai might be able to come, seeing that it's so near hers. Oh, and I need help on part of the star ocean fanfic- you know the swords thing? Exactly what your hentai mind is thinking. Lalalala...

Fear me. ^_^ I'm still high on mentholathum inhalers and refusing to go to the doctor.

12:48 p.m.

Yaaaaaaaaatttaaaaaaa!!!!!!!

It's finally over and it's over and it's over and it's over, and, well, yes, it is, and I have this urge to do the victory jig like Dilbert and his funny mom.

...For the sake of sanity, please don't. -M

The exams are finally over
We can throw the scripts into the sea
The exams are finally over
But we shall rue August this year.
-Kai
...THAT DOESN'T RHYME. XD - M

But anyway it's over, and should I be scared that we learnt to sing the "midnight, not a sound on the pavement," song in Chinese? And the crazy filks that we came up with..

I am high on mentholathum

o/~ Wu ye... mei you shen ying zai jie shang...

...A cookie to anyone who knows what that is. And who can sing it. Correctly. In Chinese. XD XD XD XD XD -M

(Kai-chan mo Aine-chan mo Kaori-chan don't count. And Ling.)

And I guess we're done, so I guess we're off to celebrate now!!!!!!! XD XD XD

(Off to see the wizard~)

08:46 a.m.

Anou, Meia.. The warning was there right from the first version, it got lost under tons of posts, I guess. And Kaori made the warning, I'm just here to advocate it and back it up. ^^ I'm aware that layouts take a long time to make (even though I'm semi-html illiterate), and that Kaori-chan took a long time and a huge amount of effort to make this one. So I'm very grateful, and if anyone tries to take advantage of her work.. watch out. That was in response to the trouble Kaori's had with people who steal her layouts.

That done, I should really go study now. But about the satanic jelly.. it's okay.. I never liked jelly much anyway, but it was a friend who made the jelly for me, sort of as a good luck gift for tommorrow's exam. I have the note which came with the jelly, so it's okay.

*drags self away from computer* Me go study now.

Saturday, May 26, 2001

03:14 p.m.

Eh. I really should be studying now, but.. lala.. Arts Fest completely spoilt my exam mood.

Leareth's online! Haven't seen her online in ages!^^

Meia, I dunno about the glasses, but how on earth did you let your junior go and lose them? And if you dare to post those pictures.. *smiles and sharpens knife* I want to see Frank-san's reaction to the sandals, though. Why in the world would he want to see your sandals?

Kaori, I forgot to pass you the YnM drama cd for the third time, now! *smacks head* badaine, badbadaine. Here's ninku fanfiction to cheer you up, though.. remember that series from AXN a long time back? I'm still trying to figure out their names in Japanese, though. Star Ocean is really good. Nice art, cute characters. Really cute characters. More later, cause I'm too lazy to blog.

The layout has been made by Kaori-chan *waves*. Anyone who copies (or attempts to copy) this will regret doing so.
